Stacking & Handling Guides

Returning hired equipment in good order keeps your costs down and our turnarounds fast. These short videos show how we expect rubber feet, temporary fencing and crowd control barriers to be stacked and presented for collection.

Dry hire customers: following this guidance is a contractual requirement under our General Terms & Conditions for the Hiring of Equipment. Where equipment is recovered poorly stacked, contaminated or damaged through non-compliant handling, additional charges may apply (see the “Dry Hire Conditions” and “Additional Charges” clauses).

Rubber Feet Stacking

Rubber feet are easy stacked when done correctly. Follow this guide to get them ready to load on collection.

Key points

  • The bottom row must be 2 sets of four blocks facing in from either side.
  • Keep stacks square and limit height to seven layers.
  • Group like-with-like — do not mix damaged feet into clean stacks.
  • Keep the stacking area clear and accessible for our collection vehicle.

Temporary Fencing

Temporary fencing panels, This guide shows how to stack panels safely .

Key points

  • Avoid Stacking any other items on top.

Crowd Control Barriers

Crowd barriers are supplied in bundles of 25, top and turned. Returning them in the same configuration speeds up loading.

Key points

  • Re-stack in bundles of 25, top and turned, exactly as supplied.
  • Keep hook-and-eye connections on the same side.
